Wish I could give lower. Place was a mess. Tables dirty. Bathroom smelled horrible. Then I was told today we are only taking cash. Who still carries cash..? Not me! I had not been to a waffle house in a year. Guess what won't be back.
Avoid unless you just want to give money away. They charged me $5.76 for placing a to go order (two $2.88 charges). After I complained they said one was a tip for the waitress. AFTER I already tipped her $5.49 so she got an $8.37 tip and didn’t even put everything in the bag. I will never go to Waffle House again. Absurd.
Staff is always friendly and attentive. I usually come really late at night when it’s not too busy. The workers clean as they cook which is great, and I’m usually in and out of there within 15 minutes.
