Waffle House

Candy was my waitress and this was my first time here. Though the menu was limited due to Hurricane Ian, the positive attitude, work ethic and kindness was a wonderful experience. Fast and friendly and a great comfort meal at a cheap price.

The worst experience I have had at Waffle House. Ordered eggs over easy, hash browns and waffle. Eggs were grossly under done with the whites running. Waffle never was served until I asked a second time. Waffle was grossly under cooked and essentially a dough ball. Had to ask for a refill of coffee and the server disappeared for about 20 minutes while other staff were totally ambivalent. Checked out and paid $13 for a lousy meal with lousy service

Been a hot minute since I ate in a waffle house. The wife won't eat there so we haven't been since I got married. So based in some fresh eyes and taste buds. This WH is in a better location than others in terms of quality of neighborhood it's in. But there was still vomit in the parking lot so it was a standard WH experience lol. (I'm sure it's not an all the time thing). Busy for a Tuesday afternoon! Almost full up. Inside was clean, bathrooms were clean. Wait staff was A+ friendly and let me switch from the high top to a regular booth since I was with my kid in tow (once it got less busy and a low top opened up). She accidentally forgot my extra bacon buy gave it to me on the house to make up for it so I thought that was fair. (A rush of customers came in to be seated as I asked for it). Food was good. Cooked how I remembered. Definitely tastes better than Cracker Barrell (which is too buttery). Got a standard waffle/eggs/bacon/hash browns/toast with coffee and OJ. Was able to split
