Waffle House

I love Waffle House chain and eat it often. We’re in town for kings island and decided to go to this Waffle House location for breakfast this morning. We got there around 11am. The restaurant was filthy. Food was all over the floor. About half the tables had customers, the other half had dirty dishes not yet cleaned off. We found one clear table and sat down. Waitress came. Looked like she was barely standing. Acted like she was going to die because we asked for a rag to wipe off the table. After wiping the table she took our orders. We received our food relatively fast, but she shorted us a Waffle and a side of sausage. The sausage gravy was way to salty. She also never did bring our drinks. We had to get her attention, and she finally brought our drinks. She kept saying how slammed they had been all morning. I asked if she had been there all night and she said no she was at bachelor party all night. The reason for her slothfulness and forgetfulness was obvious. She was hung over. We

We’ve been to Waffle House numerous times but I haven’t had better service at any other location. Jamie is very friendly and professional she seems to take her time with all of her customers and provides excellent service.

Came last night after a concert at around 2.30 AM with a group of friends. There was 7 of us in total. I checked online beforehand and it said open 24 hours. Upon arriving the girl working was outside smoking and said they weren’t taking orders. When I told her that online it says they are open 24 hours. She said “Sorry about it but I’m not taking orders” we all proceed to get back in the car and another car pulls up with only 2 men in it. They enter and the girl outside goes in and provides them with service. So the girl working was either “lazy” for lack of a better term and didn’t want to wait on a table of 7 people or because it was because we are Hispanic. Either way way I will not be returning to this location.
