Waffle House

Arrived on a thursday about 5 pm. I personally have never walked into a completely empty Waffle House and it was a little disconcerning. We quickly found out this location does not have to best service. Waitress/cook were in the back laughing/goofing around. She took our order fairly quickly and brought out drinks. When she delivered the food, she didn't ask if we needed anything or if the order was right. Then she and the cook went back to the back room laughing again. We noted the waffles were thin and alittle undercooked with no butter. No jelly for the toast and both of our water glasses went empty. It took us about 10' to get her attention. Also, the syrup pourer looks like it was covered in water, but has syrup all over the outside and handle. I would have been more understanding if they were busy, but we were the only ones there. Beware, another example of poor customer service....

It was ALL I dreamed it would be! Came to Orlando on vacation to visit this place and go see the other attractions. Food was great! Bacon was crisp and oh so delicious, hash browns the same, waffles were dreamy with that buttery syrupy goodness. Add some grits and a little bit of hot sauce, and a side of biscuits and gravy, wash it down with sweet tea and you are in heaven!

We dropped by this Waffle House for an evening breakfast. When we entered, there were absolutely no customers. This should have been a clue not to stay, but we did. After we finally got the attention of the employees who were laughing and joking in the back, we were invited to take any seat we wanted. We sat there and read then entire menu before the waitress approached and asked for our order. When our order was delivered, we noted that there were missing condiments(Jelly and butter) and after asking for them, they were finally delivered after we have finished our plates. As for the food, the eggs were great, the hash-browns were crispy on the outside and cold in the middle. the waffles were not complete(edge missing on half) and we both said that they must have ran out of batter. Taste wide, there were good. We noted that we had to scrub syrup off of the table ourselves as we sat down and left with spots of syrup on out hands and arms from the table. They are using disposab
