Waffle House

Sorry to say, what should have been breakfast after a late night out turned catastrophic. My husband and I arrived about 3:30am. We were given menus and within a half hour they took our order. The waiter returned about 20 minutes later to inform me they were not serving biscuits and gravy yet, (the main reason we chose breakfast there), so I substituted for 2 eggs OE toast and hash browns. By 4:10 they served my husband. He tried to eat slowly while I still waited for my order. He finished eating, I was still waiting to get served. At 5:00 I told the waiter to bring our bill, we were leaving. The hold-up, who knows? 2 people came in to pick up phone orders while we there, other than that, there were 2 people at a booth already eating when we got there. The cook looked as if he was nodding off while he was at the grill. Only 2 employees, 2 patrons and 2 other "vagrants" were there occupying 2 booths as if they were best buds with the cook or something. Absolutely the WORST servi

While the food was good. We finally got our drinks after we finished our meals, even though we were the only customers in the place and asked twice. The 3 stars is for the good food, the negative 2 stars are for lack of service. Once drinks finally arrived, we had empty dishes piled up all over table. Then waffles finished the meal, they were good ... however it took 3 mins to get someone's attention to ask for syurp. We weren't greeted, nor thanked .. I don't even think the two young male employees realized we left even after we paid. This is the FIRST bad reviews or experience at Waffle House ever for us, we drove 45 mins to come eat here as a weekend treat for our family. Very sad.

We really enjoyed the breakfast at this location. Our server was friendly, the food quality and quantity was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and inviting. Will make it a point to return! Parking: This location is right off the freeway and has limited parking spaces but it wasn't congested and I found a parking space right away.
