Wacker's Roadhouse

Stopped here because a family friend knows the brewer and the manager had no idea who he was...not off to a good start. Git there 1 hour befire close (I live 90 minutes away) and was told they couldn't serve me because their kitchen had just closed. I let them know i wasnt planning to eat and they could put whatever mandatory food charge they needed to on my tab. I sat and was told there was no paper beer menu and that it also was not available online. Id have to stand at the screen and catch the descriptions as they flashed by. I ordered a flight of 6 2oz pours and they all tasted like water, but with different colors. I asked for 2 brewery stickers (which vary from free to $2 everywhere else) and when i got my tab the stickers were $5 each!! Wish I hadn't gone out of my way to stop there.

Went last evening, first time. Planned on ribs, no ribs 45 minutes after opening. What bbq place runs out of ribs. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich, smelled real good but she said she made better at home? Beers were tasty, growler over priced at 15, took a bit to come up with the price. Can get 64 oz for 10 at another big craft brewery in fridays, so I’ll do that. Waitress was pleasant and didn’t hover. Pretzel app small but tasted good. I liked the place but need to taste a bit more I think. Hopefully the ribs will be there next time.

Great food, great beer, great staff. The atmosphere here is perfect for conversation with friends while enjoying a drink and meal. Hanna is very nice and was on top of everything we needed. A+
