Wabi House is absolutely beautiful inside, and it sure does get crowded quickly. I suggest not going during peak times, if you can avoid it, but it's a testament to just how amazing the food is. It's a little bit upscale. I'd say it's Japanese with American twists, as I've never seen some of the items on their menu any other places. The ramen was good, nothing too memorable but the cocktails were superb. I couldn't get enough of the lychee champagne. I still crave it to this day. The yakitori were both tender and juicy. My favorite part was the black sesame creme brulee!! It was out of this world. Definitely try it if you have some extra money to spend, as it's a bit pricey. Well worth it though.
Overall good experience. I wasn’t impressed at first because the bartender made our drinks far too sweet, and he had a little bit of an attitude. They fixed the drinks, and after the food came out we were happier. The chicken Karaage how did an excellent consistency, and wasn’t over breaded. Included sauce paired well. The tonkatsu broth had excellent depth of flavor, was not too thin or overly oily or fatty. The Tamago Was delicious, as was the Chashu. The hamachi appetizer was delicious. The decor and atmosphere was fun and cool, we had a great time and we do recommend this joint.
The food was super tasty!! Highly recommended! However, the service is only ok. Our waitress was super slow and barely checked on us. We waited for the ramen for more than 30 mins. Don't come to dine in if you are in a hurry. … More
