I have been eating at VN for over 10 years. I currently live in midtown and drive down to eat here. All my food today was perfect as always. I placed the beef plate Togo to get home to this, I have had this dish plenty of times and know I was cheated of meat and given almost double rice. Very disappointing.
The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the pleasant aroma of sriracha and beef broth. The place actually looks more upscale than one might think. Unfortunately I was on a tight budget, so I wasn't able to get exactly what I wanted, but the food was excellent and the service was incredible. Seriously, I don't know if it was a fluke, but they brought me my order less than 2 minutes after I ordered it. You wouldn't get service that fast at your local McDonald's.
This was a nice spot. The Phô was good. I see this place gets pretty busy around lunchtime. I recommend this spot.
