Pretty bummed. I usually love their pizza, and food. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, one side with jalapeños. Pizza was burnt and oddly soggy. You could tell they forgot the jalapeños and just threw them on last minute. We ordered the dough pillow, which were completely burnt and tasted awful. Hesitant to order again after spending $50 on food we didn’t eat.

First and last visit to Village Idiot. Burnt pizza crust, complacent waitress, family size salad only serves 2, no manager on duty, advertised online special not available to the family. Waitress stated review on credit card machine “didn’t do anything.” I did it anyway. No one wanted the leftovers.

Friend and I came here on a Wednesday and ordered the Chicken Hibachi and Barnyard pizzas. They did not disappoint. The chicken hibachi was flavorful and was really unique with the sweeter, tangy yum yum sauce balancing the strong teriyaki base, and the pizzas was thin, crispy and was quality all the way around (I recommend adding some parmesan that is provided at the table - make it even better). The barnyard, on the other hand, was a different type of pizza. Its crust was a little thicker and was still crispy, and the plethora of meats on it were individually very good. The red base/tomato base worked well with this pizza, a more traditional pizza (pairs well with extra parmesan and a little garlic powder). The only vies I really had with this place were that the chicken hibachi was lacking in the chicken department and the barnyard didn't have enough sausage on it. I should highlight how impressed I was with the service and how fast our order came out. Big pluses.
