Quick and excellent service, amazing prices, huge menu. Why a star off? With that huge menu comes a cost; some dishes are certainly better than others. We thought the rare steak meat pho was OKAY but not all the way there flavor-wise. While the banh mi with pork and the lemongrass pork noodle bowl were absolutely fantastic. I felt the papaya salad COULD have been great without so much sauce at the bottom and if there was more of the green herbs throughout the dish. Egg rolls are always good, and they were here. Went for my partner's birthday and it was wonderful, honestly. It was PACKED and we were seated instantly. Vegetarian options: The papaya salad no meat, amazing. Huge amou t of options. Parking: Huge parking lot with large bats in front of the restaurant. is in a strip mall.
Best Vietnamese food we have had in Albuquerque so far! Reminded us of some places in NY and Dallas we used to go to. Had the noodle bowl with grilled pork and shrimp and wife had noodle bowl with egg rolls and grilled chicken. All very tasty and very good. The place got very busy so you know it is a popular place. The soups look good too.
It was nice to see that the owners had dressed up the store for New Years which was a welcomed site, but it went down hill from there. We placed our order to include egg rolls, but we never got them. Both of our meals came out faster than the egg rolls, and when we asked for them again, they came out cold and soggy. The pho had little to no taste, and felt like the broth was missing ingredients. The noodles were a bit over cooked. My wife’s meal was fine, but she also said that the meat was bland and could use seasoning of some sort (salt and pepper). For the hype around this location, extremely disappointed.
