Very's Great Philly Food

Not a lot of places in Columbia get the Philly Cheesesteak right, but this place does. Honestly it may be the best Philly Cheesesteak you’re going to find in all of SC.

Picked up lunch to go here today. I came because I love Philly cheese steaks and heard this place was supposed to be one of the best in the area. Overall, the food was good but underwhelming. It did not seem worth the $15 it cost for a 7" sandwich with fries. I ordered the classic philly with provolone, peppers, onions, and pickles, with a side of french fries. The cheese steak had copious amounts of cheese and the peppers and onions were great. Unfortunately, the bread sucked and was just soggy. The pickles were gross and were clearly the cheapest possible they could find. The fries were well seasoned but were undercooked and soggy. My wife got a chicken parmesan sandwich for the same price and the breading and roll were also soggy. I may come back again, but I've had better Philly's in the area.

We were on our way back from Washington DC headed home to Georgia and we pulled over to get gas, and we seen this restaurant so we decided to visit and my wife wanted a Philly cheese steak, so she went in to order the Philly cheese steak she said the lady at the counter was very very nice and helpful and friendly. After taking a bite of my wife's sandwich ???? I wonder why I didn't get one of my own, Delicious!
