Huge portions, bold flavors, and welcoming waitstaff. What more could you want from this LA landmark. It’s a SoCal institution that’s mandatory for any resident or tourist. Get yourself some garlic chicken and buy a bottle of the sauce on your way out!! … More
Authentic food and atmosphere. Perfect seasonings and recipes! Delicious and concentrated in flavor! Chicken is as good as advertised. Great Cubano as well.
I was so looking forward to having cuban food. My friend remembered Versailles being a great restaurant years ago. The Yuca was over cooked (and had no salt or garlic) It tasted like it had been swimming in water for hours. The black beans were also pretty bland and the pork I had was hard and dry, like it wasn't fresh. The only saving grace were the flan and courteous waiters.
