Carried out a calzone and cheese bread recently. I would definitely recommend Verona's to locals and weary travelers alike - great food and decent prices!
This pizza was so good! I got it after the club
Stopped by to get a slice of pizza, had a terrible experience. I asked the employee if there was a deal or combo for a slice of pizza and a drink. He laughed at me and informed me this is downtown everything's expensive here. Okay, so I guess you don't want to sell me a soda? I don't know of another Pizza joint downtown that doesn't have an everyday combo for slice and a drink. Just a moments later as I'm trying to digest the inner turmoils of this business that are already apparent, I witness a different employee screaming at a third employee, who is an old man, over the way he was stacking boxes. I've never felt so disgusted to be the current patron of a business in my life. The way this guy was treating the old man can only be described as the way an alcoholic, abusive father treats his child. "how many times are we going to have to have this conversation, how many times do I have to tell you blah blah blah" Yikes, what an embarrassment of a business. I will never be back.
