What a MEH experience. The food was unremarkable and disappointing. Even worse, the time it took to prepare the food felt like an eternity. This is the slowest team of cooks ever. All the good reviews must be from family and friends, or for a different restaurant. Service and food needs a lot of improvement.
Our first time there. Food was good but service was chaotic. No refills on drinks… lots of people working, but no connection to servicing the customers…. Not sure if we should get our own drinks or if someone was going to help us. Very confusing… sorry to say.
Another fantastic meal at Veritas. Just a quick brunch and completely astonished by the avocado toast with crab remoulade. Loaded grits were amazing as well. Great wine selections to pair with everything. Phenomenal as always.
