Verde

Always delicious food and great service at Verde! We had the Chorizo sandwich and lunch portion of Pibil, both are fantastic!

This review is fully based on the fact that I'm vegetarian and I can only review vegetarian items on the menu. I don't think this place is a good restaurant for vegetarians. Lately many restaurants are offering "adjusted" versions of their meat dishes by removing the meat protein and adding vegetables or by offering as a "vegetarian" menu their sides. Side items doesn't make a dish vegetarian. I ate the vegetarian arepa with grilled vegetables and there was nothing special about it. The vegetables lacked seasoning and flavor. The arepas were dry. My husband had vegetarian fajitas and they were just simple tortillas with grilled vegetables with no seasoning. The tostones were ok. The service was OK, all the employees seemed like they didn't want to be there. Our waitress didn't recognize many ingredients on the menu, and she didn't know many what the dishes had on them. As vegetarian I wouldn't recommend this place. I'll not give it a second try because I know there is nothing in there

This place is awesome! The food is great and the service is great. You can’t go wrong here. We stumbled on to this restaurant when a nearby restaurant looked less desirable. The ambience is fun and inviting. Their tequila flights are a must try. Everything we have ordered from Verde has been delicious. I don’t know what seasoning is in their black beans but it is addicting. They have live music some nights which is a fun experience. This is a place that has to be tried if you are in the area!
