Valley Inn Restaurant

I ordered fried chicken and my husband had the fish fry. The cooks need to season the food. It was ok!

As we came in the door I noticed in red letters that it stated 'We Never Forget Our Heroes'. I kind of liked that, since my husband is an Army veteran. Well as we were being seated, I share with the hostess that we had both a Hero and a Birthday Guy we were here to celebrate. We went intentionally for the awesome pork chop dinner the Village Inn always makes! Our cocktails were good enough to only needed one. Made just right! Yeah! And apparently my husband, Art, says 'this' is the best ever, ever mushroom soup. We got our 'to go'. When we finished eating, we received the check, and thanks, but no mention of Hero or Birthday. After we completed business, I did mention to our server, my personal request, and we were then offered desert . . . we took two delicious brownies. I 'little' disheartened. Leftovers great!

Stopped in last week Wednesday, I had the Godfather Sandwich and my boyfriend had the Valley Burger. Wow, talk about fantastic food. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive and efficient. They also have some of the best fried chicken around. My favorite is their sausage, peppers and potatoes dish (it's usually a special). The prices are great and their service is exceptional.
