I kept hearing about the fried chicken. It was OK but nothing special. Update:. The chicken his hit & miss for some reason. The last few times I had it, it was really good. Best friend Chicken on campus and much better than Raising Cain's.
The food is great! I go often for lunch and dinner when I don't feel like cooking. Great location for Fort Sanders residents. Line usually out the door for lunch rush
Imagine this: a freshman. Barely making through the first semester. Broke. Stressed. Depressed. Homesick. After eating at this fine establishment all my worries subsided. Depression cured. Stress gone. Skin cleared. I felt at home in that place. I went home full and happy. I would eat there without a meal plan and that’s why it’s safe to say that UTK Southern Kitchen is the best meal on campus!!
