Uricchio's Trattoria

Having eaten at uricchios numerous times in the past there was no concerns regarding the quality of their food as it is and has always been an outstanding dining experience. This past week they did something I consider to be exceptional to accommodate a customer. We had a late weeknight reservation and ran late - when we finally arrived, they were beginning the evening dining room / kitchen shutdown which was fully understandable. It was to late to be seated. We were offered soup and breads in the lounge bar if that would work, or if we able to do take out she could make dinner happen. We were extremely grateful for the offer and proceeded to enjoy 2 complimentary bowls of soup in the lounge as we awaited the 2 dinners to go.. THAT IS WHAT I CALL EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER AND A RESTAURANT THAT WORKS HARD TO EARN AND KEEP YOU COMING BACK !! THANKS AGAIN URICCHIOS !

::UPDATE:: Still my favorite restaurant in Bakersfield! I love Uricchio's and have for years. The restaurant is small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in every other aspect. The food is amazing, probably the best Italian food in Bakersfield. They are family-friendly, and even pet-friendly on the patio. Although the restaurant can get pretty packed and a little noisy during peak hours, don't let that dissuade you from making your reservations. They are well worth a visit.

Was expecting better quality Italian food. Was disappointed with my chicken alla carbonara ,it was bland , texture of the noodles was not its best, the chicken was not tender ! Lacked flavor overall. 2 stars only for their Lasagña which didn't look delicious but was tasty. We ordered 2 different Desserts which we did not enjoy at all. Don't think I'll be coming back here .
