Urban Thai Kitchen

My favorite cuisine, hands down, is Thai. But, as much as I've enjoyed several Thai restaurants (since my favorite one closed down over a decade ago), I had not found one that I *needed* to return to as often as I did that first restaurant...until I tried Urban Thai Kitchen, this past summer! I have tried their Pad Thai, Pad See Ewe (my spouse's favorite), Tiger Cry Steak, and Red Beef Curry-- and they are all so good. But it always takes a lot of self control to order something different from their Yellow Chicken Curry-- it is AMAZING! I have also tried (and thoroughly enjoyed) mango & sticky rice (dessert), green Thai tea, roti, and several soups (all delicious, even though I'm not a soup person).

Very nice Thai food, warm family place with great music , flowers and customer service. Don’t forget to ask for the “mango sticky rice “ is not on the menu .

My friend wanted to go here for her birthday lunch. It was worth the drive from Cypress. The lunch special comes with a delectable soup, salad with Thai dressing, and the perfectly cooked egg roll accompanied by whatever entree you order. I started my order with the Thai tea it was the Perfect Blend and it came in a Texas size cup. The pad thai was filled with flavor and the heat level at 3 was amazing. I will definitely be back soon as the decor is very relaxing and fresh and the customer service is outstanding. You can tell they care about the details here and they execute on all of them. Very well done! It's the best Thai food I've had in Texas. My son came from Austin for his birthday and wanted Thai. He was not disappointed with the choice and said it was worth the 2 hr. Drive it was so good. Best Thai Food from Katy to Austin.
