I went in expecting ur average bar food and music way too loud. It was surprisingly good and great portions too. Got the blackened chicken and had enough for lunch the next day. Urban Mo’s is a favorite spot of my wife’s. The food is mid grade at best. It’s not the food you come for, it’s the heavy handed drinks and the atmosphere and the FUN at the shows they have. I came here and won tickets to a Latrice comedy show and it was worth it. Snacks, booze, and sass. That’s what this place is. I recommend it for a good time. The Brunch shows are the best ???? Parking: So parking is an issue for downtown hillcrest. It’s a fact. Arrive early or go at off-peak times. Drive a tiny car for street parking or prepare to bring cash and pay.
I've been to Mo's many times over the past few years. Happy to say that the staff have treated me as if I was a long returning family member on each occasion. The food is generally carb heavy and portions are quite significant. Pretty good for a recovery from the night before. Great drinks and the bartenders are always good for a recommendation. The atmosphere inside is friendly, lots of natural light, always pleasantly decorated. Best of all, it doesn't take itself too seriously. Fully endorse for a great brunch, lunch and evening experience. Do visit, it's lovely. Update: Still great! (Jul 2022)
