Uptown Bar & Eatery

Let me tell you my husband and I were huge fans of Crave and at first didn’t understand the rebrand at first, but we were willing to give Uptown a try and it was amazing. Everything we ordered was perfect from dinner to the cocktails. Eddie was our waiter and he was great! I will say I have also been for lunch and the food we had was great but the service wasn’t so great, but this dinner was fabulous. Can’t wait to come back!

Utterly underwhelming. We were major and loyal fans (even during the pandemic) of the former Crave from its very first opening days. Indeed we would sometimes find ourselves there at least twice a week. Whereas its understood that a restaurant should freshen itself on occasion, we think what may have been missed was that Crave and its offering was unique for the area and done very well. The former Crave brought the upscale Sono/Stamford feel and crowd to the valley. We also note the difference in the menu from Latin Fusion to American. The chef may be the same but the food options and the taste is not as exciting or as tasty. There is nothing unique about Uptown and what it offers, "American" cuisine, can be gotten anywhere and it is an entirely different type of crowd and atmosphere. Had an order of poutine and burger. My wife enjoyed the burger. Hooked it up with some ketchup and mayo. Fries was on point and the drink was ok.
