Uncle Tony's Cafe

Decided to try this burger place out, based on the other reviews i was wondering if during the pandemic, the service and food quality would be better because restaurants want to gain and keep customers, not so much with this place. Upon entering, there is a sign that says to seat yourself which is fine, but half the restaurant was marked as reserved, so only 1 booth already seated, a couple, no one else in the place, so we sat in a non-reserved table. It was only about 10 minutes before we saw an employee, a gentleman came out, went to the table with the couple, didn't even look at us and we are at the table next to them, talked to them for a minute, turned around and returned to the kitchen, not a word, i mentioned to my girlfriend how this was apparently how the reviews said the restaurant works. Damn good mushroom swish burger and seasoned fries. Best burger I've had in a good while. Would have been five stars had I not observed the waitress/front of house help with the sniffles wiping her nose, prepping sauce containers, and licking her fingers without any hand washing in between. Might need a bit of a cross contamination and ServSafe training to refresh on how to properly handle food. Otherwise this is an outstanding hole in the wall establishment with great food.

Had lunch and it was semi-busy. The service was great and the burger and fries were amazing!! I definitely would eat here again. They have fried mushrooms that looked amazing too. Parking: Parking wasn't bad but I could ld see it getting crowded with all the businesses around too.
