Umu Japanese&Thai

This was the first time we went to this restaurant. It is a place. They offer different options on their menu to choose from. We had mixed feelings about their food. The sushi was fine. We ordered spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls and they didn't taste spicy at all. The sashimi was good. They serve the chicken with the vegetables on a hot plate and pour the curry sauce on top of your plate at the table. It looks cool, but it was missing the true Thai flavors. On the other hand, the Tom Kha soup, cheesecake, and ice cream were delicious. The soup was very tasty. The service was good at first but extremely slow at the end. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for our desserts. We're glad the wait was worth it. We will definitely be back for soup and dessert.

Best Sushi ???? in all of Tampa. Small / local / family owned! Sushi freshly flown in from Japan and Thailand. We love sitting at the Sushi table and getting to know all the chefs. They are very passionate about their craft and it’s great entertainment. Stop in say hi to the owner Will and ask about his fishing trips.

Second time coming here and it did not disappoint. The food was very delicious and flavorful as well as fast. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area to go and visit! Update: They removed half of the signature items on the menu since the last time we ate there. (A month ago) Everything pictures below was removed from my knowledge. Very unfortunate.
