Tzatziki Greek Food (Schererville)

A takeout restaurant worth the repeat visit. It was my first time stopping by this restaurant for a quick bite during my oil change. There is one table so eating in is limited. I went with the basics of chicken lemon soup and gyro. Make sure to ask for feta as it is not automatically included. The gyro meat and pita were both delicious and freshly made as was the soup. I could leave the fries as it was way too much food. Everything was nicely bagged with plenty of napkins, plasticware and oyster crackers for the soup. Check the hours before going because like most places they are looking for help and are closed on certain days.

Great tasting food!!! When a restaurant pays attention to detail whether you want crispier french fries and more well-done meat options, then when you receive your food, and it is exactly what you requested, you KNOW you found a great restaurant go-to option for you and your family! If you love Greek food, this is the place to order from! They do catering orders for birthday parties, and more. First time at Tzatziki’s and definitely won’t be our last. We took advantage of the one table in this mostly takeout establishment. We had the fried eggplant pita with everything and a beef and lamb gyro. I typically don’t like eggplant because it can tend to be greasy and heavy, but this was perfectly light and crispy. The marinara was also seasoned well. The gyro was very flavorful. The guy at the front was super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to try more things from the menu.
