Twisted Plants

I have always been a fan of Twisted Plants. From Fond Du Lac Ave to Zocalo to Cudahy. I have always referred people to them for their food. But today I drove from my home near Butler all the way to Cudahy as usual for Twisted Plants. I ordered at 5:50 pm and it gave an estimated time of 6:30 pm. I received the text that my order was ready for pickup at 6:30 pm. When I went in they were moderately busy inside. They told me my order would be another 5 mins. Okay that's fine. Twenty-five minutes later, I got my food and drove home. The pictures are what I found when I got home. It was 7:30 by the time I got home and too late to drive back there. Things have changed and I hope they get back on track. I won't order from here for awhile. There is a lot I can accept but paying extra for stuff on a burger that I don't get is beyond annoying. Having food that looks worse than what I could have made at home is another. And having a hockey puck for a a patty is another.

I happen to stumble upon this when I was hungry and decided to go there with rather low expectations. But when I arrived there I placed my order and found a seat. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere there is one of the most comfortable places I’ve eaten at in a long time. Once I got my order I can’t say anything other than I was completely blown away by how delicious it was. I went there expecting vegan food to be rather bland or basic but it was extremely flavorful. I even ordered a shake which I have never had a shake that superb. Overall even if you’re not vegan or vegetarian I would say this is a must try place.

This was my 1st time visiting this establishment. Service was amazing! And the food matched that same energy! Although they were extremely busy, the cashier still took the time to provide insight on the various options. We will definitely be back! Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes … More
