Tupy's

I’ll caveat my review by saying the food is excellent. We’ve never had a problem with the quality of the food and it is some of our favorite Tex-Mex in the area. And I’ll also caveat my 3-star review by saying it has nothing to do with the waitstaff but everything to do with their communication. I find it rather annoying that if you try to call on a Friday night, good luck on getting anyone to answer. It would be nice to call and see how long the wait is before devoting 20 minutes to drive there. And from my dealings with and seeing other folks dealings with the owner/manager, he just doesn’t care about the customer. I challenge him to say otherwise. He has been incredibly rude to me and I’ve seen him be incredibly rude to others. But he’s laughing it off with a full restaurant all the time. He’s in it for the money and not the service to his faithful clients.

Food was so gross and had no flavor, beans were over salted. Queso which is probably from a can and that’s about it was $9. Waiter doesn’t attend to you if you aren’t white. Manager was rude when we asked to take the god awful queso off the bill. Never ever coming back to this place and telling all friends and family to stay away from this establishment. Absolutely horrible!

I am so glad I had a friend show me this place. Solid all around good food with good prices. Service is always great when I come here. Anytime I'm in the area I always try to make time for Tupy's. Keep up the fantastic work Tupy's!
