Ttowa Korean Bistro

Disappointing. We were seated at a table that had leftover food scraps from the previous party. Talking like chicken nugget sized food scraps. Service was ok, customer service was below average. All that can be totally overlooked. Most of their dishes were actually tasty, overpriced, but tasty. What did it for me is that the "KFC" entree had chicken bones in it! The chicken pieces looked like they'd been tossed in a meat grinder, deep fried, and served to the customer! I almost broke my tooth trying to chew a massive chicken bone. This wasn't only in one of the pieces, but there were scattered bones in more than half. Totally ruined the experience. I won't be back. Sad because other dishes were quite nice.

So delicious! The recent renovation has completely changed the vibe of this restaurant and it feels so much more clean; the space isn’t cramped or dark like before. Excellent and very unique Korean food. I am so used to either attempts at Korean street food or Korean BBQ, both which are good. But Ttowa offers unique seafood, meat and vegetable dishes with noodles and rice. I had a rice cake dish with squid and clams that was amazing. Sorry no photos. I plan to visit again.
