Unparalleled excellence from the moment you walk through the door! The finest menu selections are in back lighted tablet format making for easy reading in a subdued lighting that accentuates the exceedingly inviting ambiance! You palette is sure to be rewarded as you imbibe on the finest mixed drinks that are completed before your very eyes by the server at your table. The crab cake and lobster bisque will only serve to heighten your anticipation of the main course be it prime rib or king crab! The side of lobster Mac & Cheese is actually an unforgettable meal by itself and despite the most generous portions...dessert is a must!
This is a high end restaurant, that said the service was off. It was clear that our waiter was overwhelmed. It took about 12 minutes to get a welcome visit and quite some gaps in service from then on. Even the check took a while. The food was ok. Not really up.to the price scale. We had a reservation for 8, so we were able to sample many dishes. Ironically, the meatballs and the variety oysters in the appetizer menu were the best of all the dishes we had, including dinner. I recall dining here prior to the pandemic and it being a much better experience. Being a high end place, that should not be the case.
Truluck's always offers a fine dining experience and the Southlake restaurant was no exception. The reservation was done for a celebration and the restaurant made sure to live upto their standards. Service was impeccable. Andrew gave us good options on their selection of wines. The bread at the restaurant is made fresh and tasted great. All the food tasted delicious - the wedge salad, lobster bisque and their calamari were exquisite. Tried the Miso-glazed seabass for the main course and it was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for a quite evening of fine dining. Valet parking is available or you can choose to self park in the Southlake mall. Pricing : Fine dining rates. They are over priced but you pay for the special dining experience. The food and service does total justice to the bill you pay. Will I return? : Oh yeah!
