Troutman's Bar-B-Q

Great food and amazing people. Loved the chopped pork and the best onion rings we have ever had. Most importantly we were both impressed and touched by our young waiter, Allen. He wasn't just nice to us but we observed Allen's kindness to several elderly customers. Allen sat with them, called them by name, and patiently took their orders and served them as he would his own grandparents. We were there with our 16 y.o. grandson and he even commented as how kind Allen was.

Exactly as I remember from my childhood growing up in Concord.

This place is known for their BBQ, hence the name. But apparently they're known for their fish. Im picky about my fish. In face I quit eating flounder because everyone cooks it to death and it's all dried and curled up. The flounder her was boneless, skinless and fried a beautiful golden color and was delicious. I was told they cook it to order so it fresh. I'll come back again for it.
