Tropical Restaurant & Bar

First time trying this place and was surprised that they had coquito on the menu. I was curious to try it, but they were out. We ordered 2 dishes one dish with a spice level of 1 and the other dish with spice level of 2. To me neither dish was spicey and I usually top out at spice level of 2 or 3 depending on a locations spicey factor. The food had good flavor and tasted fine. You do get ALOT of rice noodles on your dish. The only draw back for me was my dining partner recieved their dish 5 minutes before I did. I realize restaurants are struggling to have full staff and I dont mind waiting. I had been trained that a table is served together or within 1/2 minute window of each other. Life happens and there are instances where that doesn't happen and then it's communicated to the customer. In this instance, I would have liked communication. Otherwise, Tropical was a decent restaurant.

Amazing food! I can't remember the name of it but it was the A17 with shrimp (nice size & plump), chicken, and beef @ level 3 heat. The atmosphere alone was so cozy, the perfect place for a romantic date night. I went during lunch and will definitely be visiting this place again!

Authentic, welcoming, and very enjoyable. This restaurant is hidden away from the main rod and you would not see it unless you looked for it - it’s a local GEM ????. The chefs prepare authentic their cuisine and you can expect to get a great restaurant experience if you’re looking for great Thai food at a great price. They also ask you for how spicy you want the food which is very thoughtful. The rating was from 1-5 when I visited with 3 being pretty spicy and 2 being “just for flavor” spicy.
