Tribos Peri Peri Chicken

I’ve tried this for the first time and I love it. I usually eat spicy food but hot is super spicy. Their spice levels are legit and don’t order spicy if you can’t handle it. You can get lemon and herb if you are looking for less spicy. Chicken platter with rice is a must try. I loved the rice and got the extra side. Paneer appetizer is OK. I’ve liked the wings and everything is HALAL.

This is going to sound a little strange, but here goes. Have you been to Bengal Barbeque at Disneyland? Well the HOT Peri Peri sauce at Tribos reminds me of the Banyan sauce on the Banyan Beef Skewer...only without the teriyaki vibe. IT'S DELICIOUS! This sauce alone is reason enough for a return visit to Tribos. Chicken is the protein that makes up the majority of the menu here, but the lamb was my favorite. It wasn't gamey like lamb has a tendency to be. I recommend the lamb wrap and a side of the creamy cotija corn...with lots of the HOT Peri Peri sauce! ???????? Side note...Chef Will was super friendly and very helpful with making choices since this was my first visit.

Very delicious food and good service. Everything on the menu was good but I highly recommend the peri chicken and the hot wings. Will definitely be coming back again when I come to LA.
