Tres Hombres Mexican Grill and Cantina

This restaurant has been in Salt Lake for many, many years. This was the first time I have been and I really enjoyed it. The chips were fabulous and they kept giving me more when I needed them. It was a joy just sitting down and having chips and salsa. I got the blue tacos which were pretty good. I'm not sure if I was a fan of the hard blue taco shells. But all in all it was a good meal. The serving of guacamole was very generous. It is an experience just going to this restaurant. I would definitely try it out if you're in the area. The parking is in the back and you have to go up a lot of stairs to get to the restaurant. I was lucky to get a spot as this restaurant is pretty popular. It can be difficult to find parking. They do offer t-shirts that are really cute if you want to take a souvenir home with you.

We have been coming here every other month for over 15 years ! Tonight was very disappointing to the point of no return. My sons chicken quesadilla had a chicken bone in it half the size of my pinky finger. The chicken & steak fajitas had no flavor and was just sloped together and brought out . And the nachos were so bad that we couldn't eat them. Not once did are server ask if we needed anything and it still left here a decant tip!.. Stick to margaritas and chips & salsa.. I give you( -5 stars) but that option isn't available ..

Supreme food! Absolutely amazing in every way. The food was fresh and hot and we left out of there so full, we were uncomfortable. Worth every single penny. Great great great!! Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian menu!
