Trattoria Mia

My friends and I decided to try this place after 1 of our other favorite places was closed for vacation. We should have left after receiving warm tap beer. How can you serve a tap beer and not know that it is warm? Anyway, after getting colder bottles of beer we ordered. I got the filet and ordered it medium rare. I don't know what the chef was doing or thinking or what but the meat came out cooked beyond well done. So while my 2 friends ate their meal I had to wait to get my meal redone. All in all the 3 of us will never go back no matter what. Wow, how do you ruin an expensive filet mignon? Staff was great though.

I visited with a friend at the end of the day. We wanted pizza and pasta, so this seemed like a good compromise for us. Sadly we were both very disappointed. The service and atmosphere were great, and that's the main reason for the rating. The food however was not great. We were brought some bread before our meal, which was the highlight of the entire dinner. We both really enjoyed it. Everything else was underwhelming. We ordered bruschetta for an appetizer, but the bread was not crunchy as we are used to. For entrees we ordered pasta and meatballs, which was average at best. We also ordered a pizza, for which the sauce was average and the pizza dough was similar to what you would get from a box at the supermarket. Maybe this all had to do with us coming in about an hour before closing and they weren't really keen on that. We will most likely not be visiting again.
