Wonderful spot. Really great service and the staff was very friendly. I thought it would be more busy, but the rainy weather probably kept some people away. I ordered the eggs Florentine and loved it. Wait time was minimal, my coffee and water was always full, and the food was delicious. This place definitely has a "home town" atmosphere, and was very welcoming. Parking: Not that great due to the busy street out front, but it wasn't hard to find street parking a block away around 8:30 A.M. on a Saturday.
What can I say???? I ordered a broccoli & cheddar omelette and it was cold from the 1st bite. The broccoli was barely cooked, it was bland blah blah boring, the hash browns were cold and dry. This was my second time there, I don't think it's all the rave like all these 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews are but maybe they have lower expectations then I do but when you pay $32.. for breakfast for 2 you'd expect better quality. Sorry but I'm not the type to be sending it back, it is what it is and I'll most likely think twice before giving it another try. I debated on 2 or 3 stars but had to stick with 2 stars because it was disappointing enough not to bother finishing the meal. Just being honest.
Loved this spot! Came from out of town and looked for a breakfast location and they are in a nice spot right in town. They poached their eggs perfectly in the Santa Fe Benedict and their Cinnamon Roll French toast was very tasty as well! Aside from the great food, the staff was very friendly and made me feel very welcome! They also provided very helpful local advice to us Michiganders on top of the meal!
