Torero's Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Well, Grace was right, portion sizes are really BIG. And the food is pretty darn good too! My wife had two Tacos al Pastor, and a Taco al Carbon, and I had a chimichanga and a chili Reino (poblano), and it came with rice and beans, salad, garnish, and sour cream and guacamole, and it was all really good! I was really impressed, because many restaurants like this are very Americanized, and more like a Chi-Chi’s or south of the border. But this was really good and a great value as well. I should mention that my wife is a native Mexican and she was suitably pleased. Note that this place is usually crazy packed! But we came on Wednesday night at about 7:30pm and that was fine

I had the fish tacos and it's the second best fish taco I've had in Cary outside of Burrito Shak. It's battered and fried vs grilled which I enjoy way more. Decent amount of sides and great service. Tried the fajitas my lady had and wasn't too impressed. Decent portion but burnt early from the cast iron skillet and for the amount of seasoning it just didn't pop..

Huge portions and great food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Love the variety of dishes in their menu, especially the vegetarian options. Tostadas and cheese enchiladas were fantastic. Reasonable prices and good ambience.
