Torchy's is a legendary taco place, known for their stacked tacos and their interesting takes of combinations of fillings. They're usually pretty busy here, but food comes out decently fast. The taco sizes are big in comparison to street tacos, but it's all about the bold flavors. Honestly I've never had anything bad here, and they're always making something new. Would highly recommend stopping here even if it's a to go order. Steak or fish are both solid choices for a protein to start with.
Who cannot like mangoes in your taco? I left off the Diablo sauce for a reason. I like my tacos mild. Update: Darn, I didn’t take a picture of my favorite taco…fried avocado. It was fun to introduce Torchy’s to my son.
As a Mexican born and raised I appreciate innovation and playfulness with the recepies and Mexican food, I'm not a purist. This place is amazing, I've probably tasted one of my favorites, if not my favorite taco in the world, the bushfire... Omg, the flavor combination with the red sauce was amazing, I loved every bite of it. I can't say much more than that, bushfire...
