Visited Torchys for the first time this week. This is one of the best Quesos I've ever had. And how can I forget their Fried avocado taco. As a vegetarian I only have a very few options wherever I go. But the few options that Torchy's had were amazing. Loved being here. Will definitely go more often.
Even though I only rated them 3 stars, they had Damn good tacos! A little on the pricy side, fuzzies tacos is cheaper and about the same quality, but we were still really happy with the tacos and the drinks. Until I got food poisoning about an hour after eating there. I wouldn’t get their fish tacos though, I ate one and got food poisoning. I suspect the fish wasn’t being kept hot enough and dangerous levels of bacteria made me sick. My wife got the burrito and it was fantastic, so was the queso.
Good seating and good food at Torchy’s Tacos in the Highlands in Arlington, Texas right off of Highway 287! Food: My usual here is the Trailer Park and I get it trashy, which is their sauce that comes with it. I love the softness of the flour tortillas and the crunchiness from the fried chicken, which pair well together. We also ordered their chips and queso, and I like putting some of the queso onto my tacos. It has a little bit of spice in it, but nothing that will burn your mouth. It’s just to add a little flavor. The chips and salsa are also good, but nothing to write home about. Price: For the price, you get a lot of food. I usually only order two tacos and that’s enough for me. It usually comes out a little over $10 per person, but worth the price if you’re wanting to try different styles of taco each time you visit. Service: We’ve never had a bad experience at this location. Everyone is friendly. The servers do their best to help you and make sure you get everything you ordered.
