Tony's Steamers of Winfield

For such a small storefront, it's REALLY big inside, and charming, too. If you are in the area and miss Jack Straw's in Downtown Wheaton, this should satisfy that craving. Staff was nice. Fries tasted like McDonald's before they stopped using beef tallow, so I was happy. Grilled cheese was solid. Hot dog worth the price and toppings very fresh, though I am bummed that mine fell out all over the bottom of the bag cuz it was wrapped with fries.

We tried to place the order online, it didn’t go through so we called. They had the order when we called, thank God. We went in and pairs and THEN they started the order. So, we sat down waiting to be called up to get the food. That didn’t happen for about 1/2 an hour. I go up to see how long and it’s sitting in the bag under the heat lamp. Oh well, cold hot dogs and combo. Not sure we’ll be back. Last time we ate in there we got 2 fries, one hot and one cold.
