the "drive- thru" listed is a drive up to the front door and hope they come out, take your order, and return. although the breakfast taco was relatively good, they charged nearly a dollar extra for cheese that was not included as ordered, and also an additional upcharge for potato bits. had to add salt and pepper for flavor. the service was slow, not the the place to go if you're in a hurry, on your way to work, etc.
I've had the tacos from Tommy's a number of times through the years. I wouldn't say it was the best taco I"ve ever had, but it was still good. I wasn't a fan of the cheese that was used however. It wasn't inedible, just wasn't my favorite. If I'm in this part of San Antonio I will sometimes stop for a quick bite to eat. Give it a try, you may love it.
Tommy's is a certified medical center area classic. You can't go wrong with really anything on the menu. The Friday special is the bomb diggity though... Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
