Tomatillo Taco Ville Buffalo Grove

First I called, trying to find out what a certain meal picture on the website was, because it looked very good. The person who answered couldn't tell me as he thought I was trying to place an order. Kept asking for my name, if I'd placed an order online, and trying to confirm I wanted tacos. After a minute or two he hung up on me. Finally got a colleague to tell me what the picture was. Ordered it for pick up, along with 2 others getting pick up. All of our food was pretty cool, not very warm at all. My dish looked similar to the picture but was lacking ingredients I saw in the photo. Lots of soggy chips, too. One of my colleagues got a burrito... the wrap fell completely apart after he took one bite. We won't be coming back.

Ordered a taco salad......simple enough of a dish. So I thought. I prefer QDoba's over their's now. I keep giving Tomatillos a chance and it's a disappointment everytime :-( 1. Taco shell was burnt and tasted stale 2. Meat were very thin pieces 3. There was no cheese (probably had to ask for it with extra charge) 4. The guy preparing it did not use gloves and wiped his hands on the same towel he wiped them on after touching raw meat. This has to be an OSHA red flag.

We have given this place 3 chances to not screw up. The first time we were here, they gave us the wrong order and wouldn't fix it. The second time, the rice tasted TERRIBLE. It smelled bad, had an odd texture, and tasted awful. The elote was so watery and tasteless. The tacos had the rice on them, so they weren't edible. The restaurant did not want to refund us so they "gave us a credit for 2 sides of rice". We got there today and they only gave us 1 super small scoop of rice. When we mentioned we had a credit for 2, they refused to honor the second one. Mind you, we even purchased a taco today. Bad customer service and clearly they don't care. We will not give this place any more chances.
