Food was average. Looked forward to the trout. Very disappointed. Not seasoned. Bland. Person in our party of 4 had the fried chicken. He raved how great tasting it is. So be selective when ordering. Chicken fried steak and potato was ok. Service was good. Stayed nearby at Cherry Hill RV park during our visit to DC.
Accommodated a party of 24. Staff was helpful and efficient. Beef stew, a winter special, was tasty and filling.
Great find! Local digs with terrific service. TJ’s has traditional American fare that’s been perfected through many years of practice. The restaurant offers a warm, and very clean, family-friendly atmosphere that makes any meal feel cozy. I will definitely come back when I am in the area! Augie’s was super helpful and made great recommendations! Thanks again! My ONLY suggestion is to reprint the menus...they’ve definitely been well used.
