Go anywhere else to eat. Publix is right next door and you can get much better food from their deli. I used to frequent TJFlatts but either they have changed the menu to the point that they are all bad or this location doesn't know how to make their own items. Order was wrong, chimichanga wasn't fried, it was 7 layers of tortilla with a thin smear of chicken, food was cold, drinks were only 3/4 full. Maybe if you just need them to microwave some chicken nuggets it will work for you.
Signage indicates that everyone entering must wear a mask unless at a table. While staff wear masks, none had them on properly - a tall gentleman had his pulled down from his nose and a young lady had her’s pulled over her chin; both while assisting customers. Additionally, the utensils were served half-hazardly IN the food, which one staff member saw I was cleaning it off after they delivered it and took zero action to correct it. Very disappointed.
Love me some TJ Flats! 3/10/2022 I do think it has gotten more corporate but we still love it. We'll keep coming back. 5 of us cost $40 and it is tasty. The staff is always nice. 8/6/2022 Dropped by late after seeing a movie. The staff was great. The did seemed extra good but maybe because I was so hungry. Any which way, it got the spot. Glad we made it in before they closed. On my Middle Class Monotony (MCM) scale (0-5 where 0 is NOT cheap or monotonous and 5 being very cheap and monotonous): TJ Flats has always been one of our most affordable family spots and with taco Tuesday, it's a regular occurrence so it fits the MCM definition pretty well, so I'll go with a 5 MCM.
