What has happened to Tijuana Flats??? I gave you 3 stars because I do like the tacos here, (used to after this review),but the last 3 times I've been at the Sunrise Blvd location in ft Lauderdale (this is the one I always go to) it's completely different. To start, before i walked in the door, there was trash, napkins, all in front of the door on the patio, the staff looked miserable, this location used to be lively, busy, energetic! I ordered 2 tacos with chicken. If there was even an ounce of chicken in it, I'd like to know where it was. This has happened before on Taco Tuesday, and I just figured because they're discounted, they gave you less chicken. These were the most pathetic tacos I've ever had. I've been in the restaurant bizz for 30 years and done everything from FOH to BOH, managing, you name it....this store needs some guidance, leadership, management, SOMETHING quickly. Sadly Tijuana, I gotta take a long break from you. I hope things turn around.
It would have been funny if it was not my food. I clearly did not want pico or jalapeños. Everything else was good! We had a pretty large order so one mistake is not a huge deal. It’s funny because it’s a clear top you can literally see the food.
Sorry. It’s just not very good. Employe taking our order seemed to be busy on their phone with headphones in so I wasn’t sure she was taking to us. Flautas we’re dry and the meat inside them was actually quite bad. Hubs had a burrito, edible but nothing special.
