Tiger Lily 2

When I go to a restaurant, and since I work in the industry as a chef , it takes a lot to really wow me when it comes to a dining experience but I was very much ”wowed” tonight and I love when that happens. From the moment we walked into this place, I noticed the ambiance, the decor and the feel of the restaurant, we were greeted and welcomed by genuinely happy staff: Our server Manley, took the time to discuss some of the menu answer any questions and patiently waited for us to order, along the dining experience he also told us about himself and went out of his way to get to know us as well. It was genuine and unfiltered and I can’t tell you how refreshing and uplifting it is to get good service let alone GREAT service like this. It’s rare, and I feel like most establishments and especially now it’s almost non-existent so when you do get great genuine service it blows me away. My wife and I tried Tiger Lily 2 for the first time last night and we were blown away by how good it was. Everything from the ambience to the service and the food were spectacular. Our server was very personable and was able to make several recommendations that panned out to be delicious. Our meals were delicious, and we were very happy with how fresh and tasty the ingredients were. Also, they can spice things to taste, so the Korean chili sauce that came with my bowl was fantastic. We also tried their house-made kimchi and it was delicious. We definitely recommend this place, and we will definitely be returning!

“Wonderful experience” sums up our first visit to Tiger Lily 2. The very friendly, very genuine staff were delightfully friendly and anxious to please. We were looking for somewhere casual to eat on our wedding anniversary after a visit to Allisonville Nursery. We love Asian foods of all kinds and TL2 sounded like it might fit the bill while looking on Google. The other thing that appealed was they were open at 4:30 when we were looking, so we didn’t have to wait til 5:00 like for other places in the area. I ordered the Kalbi, Korean marinated beef ribs, a dish I have had before at other places and have made myself. This version was delicious, having been marinated in an extra tasty marinade and sautéed perfectly. Super fresh mushrooms were cooked along with the beef and added a nice touch to the dish. My wife very much enjoyed the Thai Ginger Pork, stir fried pork perfectly seasoned with ginger and green onions. Delicious! As we left, everyone in the staff thanked us and wished
