This diner is Cash Only. Bring your $$$! The menu is full of delicious food ranging from shrimp & grits to French toast, Waffles, and a series of side dishes to make people happy. I had one generous slice of French Toast with two pork sausage patties, OJ and coffee. The location is perfect if you’re planning to visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park and his Home Birth on Auburn Avenue. Just say yes for this local gem and skip the hipster coffee shop in the area. #reallocal
The food was absolutely delicious. There was quite a long wait. However, the staff was welcoming and accommodating. The menu is very well priced, I haven't gotten that much bang for my buck in a while. If you're going on Sundays (or a weekend) get there early. I will definitely be back! Wow. Can’t say enough good things about this food. Disguised as a diner, but with some real southern soul and comfort here. The food is incredible and the service awesome. I can see why it’s usually packed! Fried catfish is fantastic and so is the fried chicken biscuits and gravy. Must have when in ATL.
