The Westgate Room Restaurant

One of the best Eggs Benedict, I ever had

We went to the Westgate hotel for mother's day brunch and we were not disappointed. They have American dishes, among other dishes, all carefully crafted. I am eager to share this review because, pre-COVID, the Westgate had a mother's day buffet brunch. This buffet was one of the best buffets our family has ever enjoyed. It had a wide variety of foods, traditional and non-traditional breakfast foods, with many stations. The decor is classical European and the food was carefully arranged. This brunch we had to order a la carte and the food was still delicious-- we left happy. Westgate, please bring back the buffet (when it is safe).

I had the granola with almond milk (ordered it for breakfast from the pool) and it was delicious! The service was quick and great. I’m leaving a bad review because this week they decided to remove all vegan items (which were already very few) from their breakfast menu. Not sure what drove this decision, but I think it’s good for hotels to have at least a few vegan options for their vegan clients. I don’t recommend this place to vegans for breakfast.
