Food was fantastic! Enjoyed brunch on the patio. Staff was efficient and the brewer answered my questions about the beer. I sampled 4 beers and had a pint of Pilsner. The pils was different, thought I had been brought a Hefe, but the brewer explained it was non filtered. I really like two of the beers. One was ok and 2 were awful. Get a flight or two before choosing a pint.
Upon entering the establishment you see the bakery full of pastry & cakes. We were delighted and bought a lot of cookies, bear claws, and cake. We didn’t have to wait long before being seated for dining. I had the schnitzel sandwich with potato salad. We had a pretzel that was fresh and tasty. I tried samples of food that other people got in the group. The Reuben tasted great also. Every time we visit the food is awesome.
The beer was good especially the grapefruit hefeweizen but we both ordered the Wiener Schnitzel and it was like a mini appetizer size. I have never had such a small portion in my life. Usually it's a huge plate with a large portion. The sides were larger than the main course. At $17 a plate it was ridiculous and a rip-off.
