The Tipsy Oak

Cute little spot, they offer heaters for outdoor seating but they didn't encourage it the day we went. Stood around for a few because of that until we spotted some seats across the bar with the seats facing outside. We felt in the way of the kitchen door and seemed to annoy the staff that we sat at those OPEN seats because they had to walk around us. We were able to move when more seats opened up. Food was fulfilling and drinks were great. Service was pretty fast on the food order and drinks were served right up. Restrooms were a little cramped and extremely warm.

Ambience: 9/10 Food: 9/10 Drinks: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Very good atmosphere. Very crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Good brunch menu. Tried brisket fries, lobster rolls and burger. Loved the lobster rolls the most. Drinks are reasonably prices as well. Service was very good. Will come back soon.

Tried out The Tipsy Oak for drinks after eating at Cane Rosso nearby. The vibes were awesome, we spent almost all of our time outside in the really great backyard. Drinks, including the cold beers and peanut butter old fashioned, were similarly good. My major issue was the speed of service, to the point that we had to frequently go up to the bar to order directly as our waiter hadn't been back for long stretches of time. Even accounting for it being a busy Saturday night, other tables were being serviced much more reliably and quickly. May come back and try again as everything besides the service was great.
