In town and had no reservation. Sat at bar and we’re excited for a nice steak dinner. Caesar salad was good nice touch with bacon. The Sides were good except I was told the fried green tomatoes had a sauce and never received. The steak was the issue we ordered 2 12 oz ribeyes . We received a rib eye and strip. I asked and was told that they were both rib eyes and 1 was further down the piece of beef. Yes the rib eye is closer to heck and strip more toward rear, the density of these cuts were totally different. I would have just liked the truth or told we butcher our own rail be. The difference between the cuts was noticeably different. Juan was nice as our waiter but no one else even offered to refill a drink, not even the bartender as we were at the bar. . Put a damper on a nice evening..
The Strip is a great option for anyone looking for the “step-up” from the typical sit-down experience. Their in-house chocolate bourbon is incredibly smooth and tastes great on the rocks. The steak was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time and in the time since. The food is very well made and service is top-notch. In the event you’re by yourself or don’t have a reservation when the wait times are peaked, there is always open seating at the bar, and very friendly and professional bartenders who will assist you there.
The appetizer and biscuits were very flavorful and were well presented. However, the main courses fell flat. Our steaks tasted bland. The stripclub offers "sauces" to dip the steaks in. They are not very good either. Anytime a steakhouse offers "sauces" to dip the steak in, that's not a good sign. The sides were good. My boyfriend had the fried green tomatoes, which also came with a sauce-balsamic glaze. It did not pair well with the tomatoes. The sweet potatoes were yummy and the asparagus was prepared well. The service was good, but our waitress seemed frazzled. When she brought out our appetizer, she had to light the cheese. I thought she was about to burn the whole restaurant down ???? Maybe it was her first time doing that particular dish. Maybe she was just having an off-day. I do not recommend stripclub. There is another steakhouse down the street from the stripclub in Greer that is better priced with food that is more flavorful.
