The Spanish Room

Four of us dined on a Friday night and enjoyed our evening. It's a pleasant room and usually pretty quiet (a big plus!). Why is it that when there are few patrons present that the wait staff seats them all right next to each other rather than spread out? We could hear the entertainment from the bar area, but it was not bothersome. The menu doesn't have that many entrees, however there were enough that we all had to work to narrow down our choices, since they were very attractive. Two of us had the flank steak special, which was quite good and a very generous portion; and two us ended up choosing the scallops, also very good. Another mystery--when there is a duplication, why does the waitress give the larger portion to the woman and the smaller to the man? It never fails! The wine serving was ample, but we still ordered another glass each. The waitress got both the bills wrong, but neither couple made an issue of it. First time here it's located inside a hotel. Area was nice and clean, staff was friendly. Eggs Benedict was good the ham could of been heated up, fruit was fresh, potatoes could have been heated up as well. Red is an awesome entertainer and I so enjoyed her music. She had a wide variety and also did requests. I will definitely tell all my friends to visit on Tuesdays!
